Hostal Sonchek in San Pedro de Atacama was a delightful surprise! The traditional adobe building kept the rooms cool even in the scorching desert heat. The cozy atmosphere, combined with the top-notch cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, made our stay truly enjoyable. The location, just a stone's throw away from the town's bustling streets, was incredibly convenient for exploring and dining out.The charming host was incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. The communal kitchen was well-equipped, perfect for preparing a quick bite before heading out to the nearby shops and tour agencies. Though Wi-Fi was available only in the common areas, it was a great excuse to mingle with other guests and share travel stories.The peaceful garden and terrace were ideal for unwinding after a day of adventures in the desert. The fact that they offered free private parking was a huge plus for us, as we had rented a car to explore the mesmerizing surroundings. Hostal Sonchek offered great value for money in pricey San Pedro. Highly recommended for fellow travelers seeking a comfortable, eco-conscious stay with a touch of local charm!
